The second post on this thread includes a map and summary of location and setting. This post includes all rules and guidelines.
General
-It is not necessary to know Pern in and out to roleplay here, basic knowledge is provided for new users.
-No powerplaying, this means controlling other players characters. If you wish to arrange for the 'borrowing' of characters for use in fanfiction and such, please let me know by Private Message before hand. Power play is only acceptable with permission from the other character's roleplayer. This must be clearly given.
-Flaming/Trolling is never acceptable, please try to be patient with other users. If you have a reason to be angry with them, you may discuss this with an admin.
-As a user may have as many characters as they wish, a generic username is acceptable.
-Admin/Moderator decisions may be questioned, but please do this by PM.
-Keep is PG-15, please. Boards containing R rated material must be labeled in the thread title. If you want to roleplay NC-17, then I'll make you a protected board.
Literacy
-Please try to write a minimum of two paragraphs per post, for a bare standard of literacy. Failing that, enough to work with is acceptable.
-Please do read the information included in other threads, this can prove useful, even if you know the genre inside and out.
-Whole posts that consist of chatspeak will be deleted.
Other
-Not all characters can hear all dragons, there will only ever be one or two characters with that ability in the Weyr, at any time.
-Excessive complaining about Impression of firelizards, Whers and Dragons is not acceptable, though you may complain to me.
-Please don't use long, unpronounceable names.
-Never be afraid to make a board.
